If one thinks about it, GitHub can be used for literally anything that requires text collaboration. Aside from coding, GitHub has been used online for many other purposes such as travel logs, recipes, and many others. For example, the user Dylan Egan (“dylanegan”), uses GitHub as a travel log, which others can suggest changes or additions to his travel plans in. The user Gianluca Fiore (“Donearm”) uses GitHub in order to save a recipe for a Tiramisu dessert (although still formatted in code from), which he can then later edit as needed. Personally, I could see myself using GitHub to make a list of “to-watch” anime series and TV series, and share it with my friends, so they could suggest shows to add to my list.
